ISAT craziness!

Well, today is Monday and I am going in to take my 8th grade ISAT to see if I will be able to test out of reading for 9th grade. For those of you that don't know what and ISAT is, it's basically an acronym for Idaho Standard Acheivement Test. A big fancy word for LONG test. I have to get a score of a 234 which is advanced to pass out of reading. You might be wondering "Why do you want to pass out of reading? Reading is good for you!", well the reason I want to test out so bad is I get an extra elective next year if I test out. An extra elective means more high school credits! Well, wish me luck I am off to school just so I can miss lunch because of some long test. Leave a comment of what your tests were called or what they are called.

Fun and Tiring Day!

Hey everyone how is it going? Well I'm just gonna jump right into my Friday. To start it all of I went to school and got some homework. I'm not a big fan of homework if you couldn't tell. Then after school I went down to our new skate park for the first time since it has been open. The skate park was amazing but, it was SUPER busy. Sometimes the crazy amount of people would be annoying if you were trying to hit a section or something but, overall it was fun. A cool surprise to me is that Tony Hawk is coming to our Lewiston skate park on May 21st to skate because it is a Mountain Dew Park. Aright, well I thought I would give everyone an update on whats going on! I'm tired now, off to bed!

Sweet Teas and Skinned Noses

Hey everyone! To start off this post I would just like to say that McDonald's Sweet Teas are amazing! I know some of you health junkies are going to be saying "Oh no! It is so bad for you!" but, I honestly don't care. I love the stuff. I think they are like 95% sugar and 5% tea but, that is probably the reason I like them so much! School today was okay but, I went to school with a skinned nose. I got like 5 comments on my skinned nose. What happened was I attempted a double backflip but, it didn't work out at all. I got the first rotation down. Then I got the second rotation down. Then came the landing. I wasn't quite high enough, I landed on my knees and it shot me forward. Then, as I was flying forward, I skinned my nose on the trampoline. If you have never had a trampoline burn they hurt like crazy! At first it feels like its on fire then it settles down and its like a sunburn. Now you know the story of my skinned nose. Have you ever had a trampoline burn? Do you like sweet tea? School

Today was my first day back at school since spring break and it wasn't too bad. I had a really hard time getting out of bed after having an average wake time of about 10:00 all spring break. I walk to school and everyone says "Wow, Damon those are awesome shoes!" it was pretty cool I got a lot of compliments on my shoes today so I was happy about them. The coolest thing that happened today was in my 7th hour class we got to build toothpick and gumdrop tetrahedron. Tetrahedron is basically a longer, more complicated to say square-based pyramid. It was pretty fun other than our group didn't get very far at all. Overall, today was a good day although I would much rather be on spring break! What time do you normally get up? Jump Time Idaho!

Dodge ball Area at Jump Time Idaho

 Yesterday was a fun filled, action packed, tiring day for me! To start it off I went to Jump Time Idaho at about 11:30. Jump Time Idaho is an indoor trampoline park with a foam pit and dodge ball which is amazingly addicting and fun. Here is a link to Jump Time's site jumptimeidaho.com. I stayed there until about 6:00 and then took off to Wahooz! If your thinking, wow what a drag why would you want to go to the same place with the same things only like 2 days apart, then you obviously haven't raced the go karts there. They are super fun! Then I stayed at Wahooz until about 10:00. I was super tired but, I stayed up to race the Motostar Mx Online Tournaments team race. We were racing for like t-shirts and stickers and cool things like that. Go figure, I didn't win anything all night. Then, after the race I totally redesigned the look of my blog! Swimming with new shoes?

Well, today is Thursday and some fun stuff has happened since Tuesday night. To start it off, we went swimming at the YMCA. It was really fun other than the chlorine infested your lungs, eyes, and skin. I have a few videos of me doing some tricks (what I call tricks anyway) off of the diving board. My mom, being the thoughtful person she is, packed my sister, herself, and me a lunch. So when I got hungry I just bailed into the locker room. It just so happens that the janitor of the YMCA was walking through the locker room. A surprise to me! He looks at me and says "Boy, are you eating in here?", so I turn around with a mouthful of cookies and shake my head while attempting to say "No". Thinking something bad was going to happen he just looks at me and walks away. In my head I was like "Yes! I didn't get caught!". So after that little unpleasant encounter I walked back out and shared my story with my mom and my sister and they laughed and laughed. The next day my mom and I went shopping and I got a new pair of Vans! They are so sweet! They even match my big sunglasses! Hibachi!

Hey guys, whats going on? Tonight my mom and my step-dad took me and my sister out to dinner. It was super cool! If you guys haven't heard of hibachi you need to google it, like right now! It is intense, basically what happens is that you get a table but each of the tables have grills at them. Then you get your personal chef that comes over and cooks the meal you ordered while doing crazy stuff to entertain you! I mean it is crazy some of the stuff that they do while they are cooking. Check out the video of the "volcano of flames and onions" to see how crazy it gets. Then before he leaves he cooks up some shrimp and like flings them at you so you can catch it with your mouth. Payback and Big Sunglasses

Well, today the weather finally cleared up and we decided to go to Wahooz! I was pumped up until it started raining again. Luckily, it only rained for like 5 or 10 minutes then it was time for go-carts. They have a long track and a short slick track that is for drifting. It was awesome my step-dad decided it would be funny to spin me in a turn so he did. Then the next race I passed him clean. What I did next set everything up perfectly I took the outside and let him by. I stayed behind him for about a lap then spun him completely around and he couldn't move! It was hilarious because the track staff had to run over and get him out of the wall! Now your probably wondering why the title has big sunglasses? Well its simple actually, my mom left to go get groceries and we stayed at Wahooz and she gave us $10 each before she left. Instead of using the money for food we both bought coins for arcade games. I was able to get 200 tickets out of it and used them to buy BIG orange sunglasses. Check out the picture of me in the freakishly awesome orange sunglasses. Just kidding, its not really that awesome. Mx Online Tournaments

Have you guys heard of MXOT(Mx Online Tournaments)? If your fast on Mx Vs. Atv Reflex then I'm sure you have head of them. It is an intense site. Basically, you go on the site enter your PS3 or XBOX360 gamertag and then start joining races its that simple. Well, I do race on MXOT and love it. I personally think I do race on the best team in the entire site! I race on Motostar's team. They are a bunch of really cool guys that just want to have fun. If you don't want to click on that link I kindly gave you, then go check out and click on their logo up under my blog title. Well, lets cut to the chase now, I am going to give you guys out their that play Reflex a little hint to make you go faster on the game. You guys wanna know? All you gotta do is get some small sticker or take some bigger ones and cut them up. I don't know why it helped me so much to put stickers on the controller, but it did so if you guys wanna try it out go for it! Be sure to comment about how the stickering works out for you.

Praying For Ian Trettel

As you may or may not know, Ian Trettel crashed hard at the Daytona Supercross. It was a pretty hard get-off and took a head injury. Right now he is at Halifax Medical Center. His crashed caused bleeding and swelling in the brain. Right now he is under a medically-induced coma. If you all could keep Ian in your prayers and pray for him to have a successful and speedy recovery.

Wahooz bummer!

Well we went out to Wahooz Family Fun Zone which is like an arcade with other things like go-carts, arcade games, mini golf, and bumper boats. Before we even leave the house we check the weather for the day. It was a perfectly sunny day according to the internet. Well we go there played some arcade games and decide to go out and race some go-karts. These are not very fast but, they are still a kick in the pants. We looked outside and it was raining just enough to make the tracks wet. They would not let us race so I was pretty bummed because its the main reason I like the place. We couldn't get a refund but they gave us a "rain-check" so we will go back later in the week. I'll keep you updated on what I am doing (if you care) and keep you updated on the motocross world so stay tuned!

My First Post

Hey world, welcome to my blog. I am brand new to blogging so stay tuned for better posts. My name is Damon. I am young gun, only 13 years old. Since I have no idea how to really start this I will just jump right into my life's recent events. The last couple weekends I have been racing motocross. I have been racing motocross since I was 5 years old. I love motocross or "MX". For those of you that don't have any clue or idea to what the definition is, I will throw a link in here from dictionary.com with the definition of motocross http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/motocross. Well yesterday, 3/27, I drove down to Boise, Idaho to visit my mom because I am on spring break. First off, I love spring break because I don't have to get up early to go to school!
